Our youth empowerment initiatives are dedicated to equipping young people—particularly women—in the agribusiness sector with the essential skills and resources to establish and manage successful poultry enterprises. By fostering economic independence and enhancing local food security, these programs create sustainable opportunities for community growth.
Training and Skills Development
We offer comprehensive, hands-on training that covers all aspects of poultry farming, including housing, feeding, health management, and business planning. Our curriculum is designed to build the technical expertise and entrepreneurial acumen necessary to run thriving poultry businesses.
Access to Resources
Participants gain access to vital inputs such as quality feed and chicks. Additionally, we facilitate opportunities for funding and provide mentorship to support ongoing business growth and resilience.
Through these initiatives, we empower the next generation of agribusiness leaders to transform their communities and economies.
Our program is open to young people aged 18–35, with a special focus on women and individuals from rural or underserved communities. No prior experience in poultry farming is required—just a strong interest in agribusiness and a willingness to learn.e type and scrambled it to make a type spec book. Participants will receive hands-on and classroom-based instruction covering: Poultry housing and infrastructure, Feeding and nutrition, Disease prevention and health management, Business planning and record keeping, Marketing and sales strategies and Accessing funding and managing finances
The training typically runs for 4–6 weeks], including practical sessions on live poultry farms and interactive business development workshops.
The program is free for selected participants, thanks to our supporting partners. However, participants may be responsible for minimal costs related to transportation or personal materials.
